Club Description
Founded in the early 1940’s by faculty from the Homewood Campus of Johns Hopkins University, Homewood Rifle and Pistol Club is one of the 15 original member clubs that established the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (AGC). We are a recreational shooting club for people interest in casual shooting on their own time.
Prospective members must meet the following criteria:
1) Minimum 16 years old
2) Member of the National Rifle Association. NRA applications are available on line at:
https://membership.nra.org/Join/Annuals
3) Have sponsorship from a current Homewood R&P member. Note; sponsorship is available from Homewood officer after successfully completing a safety orientation with an officer.
4) Attend AGC Range and Safety Orientation Course
5) Sign AGC affidavit to abide to all rules, regulations and policies.
Meeting
The club meets once a year on the First Sunday in November. We have a dinner starting at 6:00 pm prior to the meeting which begins at 7:00 pm in Memorial Hall on the AGC Trap Range. The AGC ranges are located at 11518
Marriottsville Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104, near the McKeldin area of Patapsco State Park.
Membership Cost
- Initiation Fee: $10.00
- Annual Dues: $20.00
